Audacity ran off of a USB Portably with the help of a portable OS is one of the BEST tech gadgets you can find! You can run this on ANY computer that supports bios/legacy booting!  There’s many more gadgets that I have configured like this on my site!
 
Plug this into any computer, boot from it, record, save projects, then shut the computer down, unplug the USB, plug it into a different computer, boot from it, and have all of your work right where you left it!
 
Requirements:
- At least a 16gb USB
- DVD-R 4.7GB
- External DVD Drive in case you don't have a DVD Drive installed
- At Least 40GB of free Hard Drive Space
